I own a kmp9 with integrated forgrip. My slingmount has broken off. From looking at it, it appears I would need an entire lower reciever if I wanted it back. Is this true? Has anyone else run into this and come up with a nice way to carry the thing.

I am considering a couple options. The first would be to get some webbing, assorted buckles, and a tailor to sew everything together properly and make a custome sling that wraps around the gun similar to the Stargate P90 sling somehow. Any ideas on quality hardware for that? I don't want cheap plastick buckles. The second less ideal option would be epoxying a rail section to the frame and attaching a new sling mount if no other options open up. If thats the route I need to go what is the polymer composite, just so I know which type of epoxy/glue to use.

Right now I am just using a utility pouch and an elastic weapons catch to secure it but it flops around ALOT. When there was a sling and weapons catch it was far more secure.

Thanks for any ideas,

You can try to JB weld the thing back on or another option is to use a rail mounted sling mount like this on your top rail:
