Pistol grip removal

Hey does anyone know if I am able to take off the pistol grip off the lm4 without removing the whole trigger assembly, since i am so lazy and hate to put back the full auto sear.

boobie here showed he took out everything

Yup, just unscrew it and you're good to go.

Umm..this vid was to show how to remove/change the buffer stop..not remove the grip..

The LM4 nicely mimics the M4 Carbine.  Single screw up inside pistol grip is what secures it to the lower receiver.

BEWARE:  The selector spring and detent is under the grip of the 5.56mm version.  Been a year since I replaced my LM4 A2 pistol grip with my preferred A1 so I don't recall if it's there in the LM4.  But proceed with caution.  The spring will be visible as the grip starts off; the detent us up inside the receiver and will fall out and bounce into the Never-Find area of your desk!.

LM4 on top; LWRC M6A1 on bottom.  Both wear my preferred M16A1 pistol grip.  I really hate that finder thingie!

Fyi..no spring or pin in the lm4 version. Just unscrew and remove the grip..as "shown" in my vid lol

@boobie haha just used your vids as reference, cause that the only vid i know you took off the pistol grip, because u took out the pistol at the end i was wondering if i had to take out everything before i remove the pistol grip. But thanks a lot!! your vids are great!!
