Hey guys, so in case you haven't heard yet it would seem that Magpul is no longer giving PTS licensing rights for any of their stuff. Supposedly it's only temporary in order to crack down on crappy copies being sold to real world users but still it's concerning seeing as KWA has a fair amount of Magpul things lined up through PTS. Mostly I want to know what this means for the future of KWA's Magpul products; will LM4 PMags still be made? Will the PTS LM4 no longer be made? Will the ERG's and Masada be cancelled? If a staff member could help shed some light for us that would be much appreciated, though I'm sure we all understand that not everything can be explained on the day of it happening.

That's awful. I was planning on building the most magpul gbb rifle ever and dedicate it to the memory of my teammate that was obsessed with magpul. I need that masada! I hope Magpul sorts this out, and doesn't hurt the legitimate companies who are properly licencing their products. On a high note, ASGI has the KWA Magpul ERG on their website for preorder, so perhaps there will still be some KWA Magpul goodness coming our way. Seeing as how the Kriss is still on the market, it is possible.

We have seen the rumors popping up online as well, however we have not seen any official announcement of this actually happening. I would direct your questions to PTS, and see what they say regarding the rumors.
The ERG is on the way from the factory right now, and will be released around the second half of August.

Airsoft Outlet Northwest sent this out in an email.Apparently people have been getting knock offs of not just PTS, but also Magpul USA products.

They are stopping the magpul products due to the high Ammount of knock offs that are out and the fact they find there way onto rs guns and parts fail. It's not a good thing when People think your products are trash and fail when it's not even the real made product. Kills a companies image and I for one am down with them stopping. Does it suck for anyone looking to magpul an aeg later down the line yes, but we can all use the RS parts anyway.
Also the erg is not effected by this. Lm4 pmags might be, idk.

Being located close(r?) to the source (PTS), it is said that the temporary production stoppage will last for one year, and only affects parts that are usable on real steel firearms (e.g. MBUS/Stocks/Grips etc), so complete airsoft gun projects and parts such as PMAGs will continue to be produces and sold. Also it is a PRODUCTION stoppage, which means they are still stable to sell what they have already manufactured. And from what I have heard, they have plenty of stock....
