I have been thinking of making my cqr mod 1 into a cqb gun as a new cqb arena opened up near my area. However how exactly do I remove the front section of the barrel?

I see this is your 1st post.  So welcome.  What exactly are you trying to do.  Remove the handguard?   The CQR is a CQB gun.  So are you just trying to make it shorter like the CQR mod 2?   If this is the case your trying to remove the 3" outer barrel extention?  It is counter clock wise to remove.   But if you remove it your inner barrel will be extending out.

Well I'm trying to make it like the mod 2 so is it neccesary to remove the triangle sight? Or can I just twist the front barrel section off without removing anything else. Also just to make sure it is not glued on the threads cause I don't want to break something into two. Oh and by the way once I remove I plan to get a shorter tight bore barrel for it. Anyway thanks!
