Hello all! I am having a rather peculiar problem when I fire my M11A1 NS2 system. When I shoot, the weapon functions as it should except for the fact that the bolt fails to return to firing position. After firing, the bolt sits at the forward position until I pull the bolt back again. If I do pull the bolt back again, the bolt repeats the same process of shooting and then failing to return to firing position. This happens in both semi and automatic firing modes. Since this problem started, I have disassembled and reassembled my M11A1 four times, each time lubing and cleaning the gun. Each of the times I have tested the gun, it has been with a full mag of gas and at room temperature. I once used silicon oil on the bucking, but that was around a year ago and swelling seems unlikely to me. I do not store the gun with the bolt open. I am starting to get frustrated with my M11A1 as I have had issues previously, requiring me to get a new cylinder. Help is greatly appreciated.

I had the exact same symptoms. Check the rubber gas seal on the top of the mag. They were torn apart on mine.

Thanks for the info. Do you know how I can solve this problem? Do I have to buy a new magazine?

If it's the mag seal, you would only need to buy that part.  Not a new mag.

Are they torn up or anything?
