Posted Image   Does an M4A1/M16A2 Air nozzle with an O-ring exist that's compatible with a 2gx gearbox and 2-piece hop-up?

I think there are some nozzles, but you will need to swap out more parts just to get it to work, including the hopup unit so I do not see much of a point when the KWA nozzle already gives amazing compression and is metal so it will not break as easily as others.

Well yeah if I change the hop up chamber then any M4 nozzle will fit, but I don't want to cut into the receiver, I'll stick with my R-hopped 2gx with lonex 70* bucking on the dmr. I'm just trying to get better compression for a narrower velocity deviation between shots, trying to get to +/- 1 fps, and the nozzle is the only thing left to make any changes to. Metal on metal leaks, I tried Teflon tape but it added extra stress on the tappet plate, it needs an O-ring.

Why not try a couple aftermarket air nozzles that have O-rings. Yes I know Proprietary blah, blah. blah. You would be surprised at the aftermarket parts you can use in your KWA gun's proprietary areas. FWIW, KWA Air Nozzles and other stock compression parts really do yield great results. I have no problem reaching 400' in my KWA DMR and can now accurately hit 350'. This with stock KWA Air Nozzle.

My compression is also very good, maybe a +/-1.5 to 2 fps deviation at the most, but usually shots are a flat 410 with hopup turned off, maybe your compression problem lies somewhere else.

Madbull Barrell, upgrade to a prometheus, edgi, or PDI? Only other thing I can really upgrade as far as compression lol. I should also note that my barrel is locked down tight with very little to no movement/vibration. I do use a sorbo pad with a modify double O-ring cylinder head. Perfect seal on piston head and cylinder head, hop up is sealed well too, though I am concerned that it's the third chamber that's cracked already, don't know why they keep cracking. Someone says certain suppressors/flash hiders are the culprit but I shortened my barrel to where it's no longer extending to the suppressor, in fact just a few mm shorter than the stock barrel. There's a guy claiming to  have success with the $5 ZCI M4 nozzle from Clandestine. I got one on the way to test. I think as far as stock nozzles go KWA is unbeatable in an AEG, but I'd still prefer an O-ring.

I see what you mean, upgrading the barrel could help but since you already rhopped im assuming you do not wanna change and madbull is not much worse than prommy edgi or PDI, though prommy edgi and PDI are the top 3 for barrels, PDI probably being the best, swapping out the barrel wont help out compression as much I dont think unless your current barrel is too thin or not sealing with the bucking well and as far as I know madbulls should work fine with the 2gx hopup unit.

Restricting the inner barrel movement in a two piece hop-up may be why the chamber is cracking.  As the nozzle moves forward the inner barrel and hop-up travel with it.  Once the nozzle retracts, the inner barrel is meant to spring back.  If the nozzle is impacting the hop-up chamber and the chamber can't move this may be causing the breakage.
