Does any after market G&P, Guarder, Hurricane, etc.. fit the gearbox? Has anyone tried swapping their metal bodies to any other brands?

It will fit aftermarket body. I know for sure it fits Hurricane and Prime.  I have the gearbox dropped in my Prime LR300.  And Radix have his dropped in Hurricane HK 416 kit.  Both fits perfectly.

Allizard, do you think the internals and externals of the M4A1 will fit on a Magpul M4 body? Specifically on the Magpul experimental kit.

I do not have an absolute answer because I don't have every single piece of airsoft equipment in hand to test.  But I will tell you what, using some logic and deduction skill and see if you can figure it out.

Let me give you some more details.  My LR-300 is Prime conversion kit for TM gearbox.  The kit produce around 4 years ago and it's already stop production.

Now, a KWA gearbox fit perfectly in a body that's made 4 years ago and it's a STANDARD TM DIMENSION; do you think it will fit a new Magpul experimental kit?!  hummm......
