Ive heard of the kriss thing and the umarex thing, but now I hear the sr12 was discontinued. The sr12 was my favorite kwa aeg but I never got around to getting one. I was wondering whats going on with KWA? All of a sudden all of these guns are being discontinued. I was also wondering what guns you guys have discontinued recently so I wont be surprised the next time I hear of another discontinued kwa product.

Yup, and we still have no idea why the KRISS got slashed. It was very popular, and one of KWA's most solid designs. Also the deal with KRISS was brand new, so its a little odd. I'm sure all will be answered sooner or later, but if you were waiting on getting one, GET IT NOW. Mags will continue to made though so thats good news.

Ok, the SR12 is indeed old news.  The gun just didn't sell that well, The SR5 went a long time before that for the same reason and because the SR7 was such a success.  The KM4A1 and the CQB were discontinued the end of last year also.  Replacing those are the CQR MODs 1 and 2 and the new Commando (basically a CQB with a crane stock (rear wired).  If you want a long gun the KM16BR is still available and is priced right for awesome furniture upgrades.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

I actually was not a big fan of the Kriss to be honest.  When I got a chance to test fire it I found the trigger pull very hard and annoying.  The two selector switch thing bugs me a little as well.

No more km4a1 either. That surprised me most of all.

The KM4a1 being discontinued was a surprise to me to.
When you think about it, the KM4 RIS still in production makes sense.
Same gun but with rails and wired to the back. Different sight as well.

I guess more and more people are looking for guns with the rails already on them.  Airsoft is both a sport and a hobby, but it seems to be drifting more towards the sport side.  A lot of people don't seem to enjoy working on their own guns as much as people on this forum.  I get people coming to me all the time asking me if I can put in upgrades for them, or they have a problem they want me to look at.  And the funny thing is they offer me money to do it.  And I say the same thing every time...  You can pay me if you want, but I don't really care because messing with airsoft guns is just something I like doing.
