I recently bought an SR10.  I shoot primarily semi-auto and occasional full-auto.

How many rounds will this SR10 typically shoot before needing repair/maintenance?  Also, should I spray a small amount of airsoft safe silicone into a full (or empty) magazine occasionally?

Lou

If you use a 9.6v battery. your gun will last what seems like forever.

The first things to begin to wear out will be....
1. Bucking /  easy replacement / non gearbox related
2. Main Spring will begin to lose its mojo somewhere around 200,000 rounds but still be useable for a hundred thousand rounds after that.
3. Piston Head O-ring wil wear out around the same time as the Main Spring.

You have a great gun.
Keep the inner barrel clean and change out the bucking every 50,000 rounds and you will have a great shooting gun for a long time.
