Ive been noticing a weird problem with the magazine. Sometimes Im just shooting gas, because the follower is stuck and not pushing the BB's. I'd have release the mag and press the button so it pops the BB's up. Usually after that it works fine. Think  it usually happens with 14rounds, but at 13, seems fine.

Another problem with the mag, is that the slide would lock and there would be like 1-2 BB left in the magazine, why is that?

Cheers!

I assume you're using a MK series 1911, in which case: Yes, if your magazine is filled with 14 rounds and the slide cycles over that it can cause the follower to push down slightly and lock at the bottom. This doesn't happen with my newer mags, however the one that came with mine still does it. To avoid this I recommend locking your slide, inserting the mag, then releasing the slide. I found that usually doesn't cause the problem. As for the slide locking early I'm not sure what might cause that, maybe your magazine was dirty and pushed the slide lock up? Wish I could do more for you there!

The 21 round magazines require modification of the pistol after which the 14 rounders won's work.

You can replace the 14 rd mag feed lip with the 21 rd feed lip and the the 14 rd mag works just fine....or so I am told.
