So my airsoft team is all about kwa! I personally own a two year old sr10.  However four..yes four CQRs have had hairline cracks near the rear body pin. 2 of which have been sent back here and returned in the exact same condition. One CQR mod 1 needed emergency replacement since the body itself was falling apart! I want to get a KWA CQR mod 2, but not until something is done about these bodies cracking. Big fan of kwa and always have been, but that being said they need to make this right...

How long have your buddies owned their four CQR's? How much use have they gotten out of them before they started cracking?

After once month of use the lower receiver is cracking? Did the KWA reps that worked on the CQR's comment on this? What is KWA's stance? I cannot believe this is happening after less than a month.

All that I know of what they said is that it will be fixed, and sure enough it was sent back and had the same crack in it. this happened to two, out of four of our players who own them, the other two are not sending them in since they don't want to pay nearly 50$ in shipping just for them to send it back.

I have a CQR mod 1 that i got about 2 or 3 months ago. Upon seeing this post i checked mine, and it is fine. The only thing thats not fully operational right now is the K120 that came with it.
Good luck!

Hey guys, sorry you're having issues with the CQR lowers...as you can see its not all of them, although we have seen more than we would like.
The factory is making an updated version, and I should have some samples soon. We will test them out and I'll let you know what we find with our tests.
We are aware of a handful having issues, so we went to the factory to ask them to reinforce it. I'll take care of you guys, give me some time and we will get this worked out.

One of my teammates have one and it has the same issue :(
The fore-grip on it to has cracks in it. I think maybe KWA needs to use some better plastics/polymer etc. I have a JG that is 5 years old tht has never craked or broken.

KingSize just gave you all the answer you could want...     he says they will make it right.

what more could you ask for?

My team has 6 CQR mod 1s and we had one body crack at the back, right behind the selector switch. One member just bought one last we and was broken in the box. This one broke at the front pin where it pivots to take out the barrel. One of the attachment points was completely broken off. The problem is its not worth $50 to send it in and get another polymer one, when you can get a kwa metal lower receiver for $46 shipped. So hopefully they will fix that problem soon. I talked these guns up huge to my team and they have had a lot of problems with them.

We all make mistakes and as a customer I am grateful. I just ordered my CQR mod 2 and will buy a new lower from you guys when this fix is applied and so will my teammates! Thanks for providing these awesome products. Will definitely buy from you guys again.

ya i will still only buy kwa guns. dont worry my team is finally all converted over to kwa guns and mags and it will stay that way. Just make sure to let us know when the new body comes out or when the metal bodies come in stock again.

Took my new cqr 2 that I purchased to the field yesterday, performed flawlessly and helped my confidence in cqb. However upon closer inspection of the rear pin. Sure enough there is a crack in it. *Sigh*

I've been wanting to order a few of these as loaner guns, but I think I'll wait until the new ones come in! According to Evike, this could be in 2 months..

But oh well, Kill With Attitude! lol

I have two hair line cracks right next to each other on the back pin but I always thought it was a mold mark and that they forgot to sand it down

I had dealt with this issue in January, it took 3 RMAs spanning about 2 months to get sorted out. KWA did an outstanding job standing by their warranty, thanks to Rudy who handled my RMA throughout.

I just looked and found one of these cracks in my CQR. Can these cracks cause any problems if untreated?
