I'm sorry if I have missed it somewhere, but is there currently a 16" outter and inner barrell out for the lm4? If not has their been any rumor of such?

I'm looking to stray away from the typical setups, and this will help with the potential build.

Currently, there are no 16" LM4 outer barrels cut for a midlength gas system. I've been waiting for one as well but no word. If I remember correctly, uscmCorps is trying to convince a manufacturer to produce 16" carbine, midlength, and rifle barrels. Thing to note as you keep a look out; KSC LM4 outer barrels are compatible with the LM4 so if you find one for the KSC, it will fit the LM4. But KWA LM4 aftermarket barrels exist yet.

EDIT: In regards to inner barrels, the longest/standard length available is 373mm at this time. But for airsoft purposes, it isn't necessary to have the inner barrel go all the way to the end. Although I can understand the OCD :P

I believe this is 16" with a mid gas system:

Here's what uscmCorps said he wants to do:

I'm trying to convince a manufacturer to produce KSC/LM4 government profile outer barrels (i.e. no M4 steps forward of the gas block) in 14.5" mid length, 16" mid length, and 16" rifle length configurations.

The more people that show interest on the forum the better. I personally want a 14.5" midlength.

That is correct, I have such barrel. I plan to have it cut down to 14,5 inch.

The problem with that barrel is the stock barrel nut will not go on it.

It probably is more of an OCD thing, rather than something based on fact, but I would imagine there could be some accuracy loss in a gun where the inner doesn't fully extend the outter barrel. Then again, we're talking under a 2" difference.

Thanks for that link, that is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for, other than the dimples, those are a real turn off for me.

Could you perhaps tells me where to search? I've been browsing ehobby, and I have found quite a bit of things I'm looking for (Pmags, the RA-tech inner, the new EVO hop-up), the only 16" barrel I have seem to come across is the one that Beach so kindly linked.

Akira- If you have a link to other mid-length barrels it would be much appreciated. All the aftermarket barrels I have found are basically the same as stock, except the Dytac Nighthawk and Guarder M16 barrels.
