I wanted to get a 370mm 6.01 inner barrel for my MP7.  But that's not working out do to the fact that I can't find it in stock, and paypal is being a ***** right now.  I also can't find a low power bolt so that sort of defeats the purpose.  However, the same company (A+ studios) makes a 190mm 6.01 inner barrel.  I even found a company in the US that carries this particular barrel.

But then this hit me.

I remember hearing on here something about tighter bores having a reverse effect on fps in gas guns if the barrel is too short.  I think it was Niko, or GCW I can't remember.  Essentially you lose fps with a tighter bore because the barrel is too short hence the gas doesn't have enough room to expand enough before the BB exits the barrel.  So, am I safe with a 190mm barrel on the MP7?

On a side note, how much do you think the fps will increase?  The bore is 6.01, not 6.03 like the falcon barrels.

I've had the 6.01 370mm A+ Studio (aka Devil) inner barrel installed in my MP7 a few months ago. They make both 190mm and 370mm inner barrels. Then I sold my MP7. I found it on eBay but it was under the name Devil. Brand new. When I got the barrel it said A+ Studios on the barrel cover.

From whats remember it increased my FPS by at least 100. Close to 150 at times. Due to it being a longer and tighter barrel compared to the stock MP7 barrel. But that was for the 370mm inner. In your case the 190mm shouldn't increase it that much I inticipate about half of what I got so let's say 50 fps to 80 fps max.

I also had other upgrades in my MP7 like the Dytac Enhanced Hammer Springs and flow valve springs, shooters design rocket valves, and Dytac enhanced recoil spring and rod pushing my FPS to 550 lol. (I love going over kill to 500+ fps lol)

Hope this helped a little.
