Hey fellow airsofters,
Sometimes when im shooting my LM4, the bolt locks back even when I have bbs still left in my mag. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Did you do the bolt catch mod? (Yes go to 1 / No go to 2)

1) The spring may be too weak, stretch the spring or replace it. It could've possibly even fell out of the paddle.

2) The plunger and/or spring may be damaged or even missing if you ever removed the impact block before. Replace the plunger and/or spring.

So, which answer, 1 or 2, fixed the issue?

I doubt it's 1. I run my LM4 without a spring under the paddle and the only time it locks back with BBs is only when it is canted at a near 90 degree angle counter clockwise. I did see your post on the other page though about the lighter spring and will get on it soon!

When I once tried it without the spring I had it pop up a couple of times, it wasn't super common but it still happened.

One of my mags is doing this. I have  the p mags and with full clip of bb's i can fire a few shots and the bolt locks back.  I release the bolt with the bolt catch and fire off a few more shots and it does it again. It does not do it every time or even with every mag i have.  But it does it alot with one of my mags.  Could it be the mag?
