So the KRISS Vector has been out for several months now, and in that time I've been debating whether or not I should save up to pick one up.

Saving up would take time, and by the time I have enough (along with some extra mags) I'm sure the next big KWA gun will be released.

So the question is; what is the next GBB rifle/smg going to be? I hear rumors it's going to be an ACR style gun, and so far that's all i heard.

So is it worth saving for the soon to be less hyped vector, the old MP7 (Before they're discontinued), or the next gen gun everyone will want.

Feel free to post a response, I look forward to hearing what you all have to say!

What do you want it for?  Kool factor?  Really, that's the only real difference between a variety of airsoft guns.  They're all useful, all shoot the same BBs, and use the same gas.

I have the LM4 as a training vehicle for the M4 Carbine.  Eliminates the 45 minute drive to the range as I can do every drill in my back yard.  In my pajamas if I want.  :)

What's my MP7A1 for?  Darned if I know ;) it's just fun to shoot and I gotta admit looks kool at the same time.  The Kriss will be the same.  Just something fun to shoot.  But functionally all three of these are the same as they spit out BBs at the same ranges and close to the same accuracy.  I've shot a real MP7A1 but will never be able to own a select fire version of it or the Kriss.

Save up until you have the money, then weigh your options.  No need to decide until you have the money to spend.

The KWA ACR GBBR is not rumored. It was announced at shot show. I'm guessing it will be at least another year until it comes out... Maybe two.

The mp7 is not discontinued. It is just being distributed by Umarex now. KWA won't warranty it anymore, but they will still manufacture it for Umarex.

If it's a KWA GBB then you'll be happy with it, the question is what design do you like more? The Masada is real, but yeah I'd say maybe 2 years and we'll actually see it in stores. The AKG is supposed to be here... 6 months ago? Bah, it'll get here eventually. The MP7 is AWESOME, hands down my favorite gun I've owned due it's light weight and snappy action. I've recently purchased an LM4 and so far I like it a lot but holy balls it gets heavy with those mags, plus they're about $65 each so there's that to consider as well.

A fully licensed HK 416 or a bullpup rifle/PDR would be nice.

I'd really like to see a GBBR AUG, or maybe a KWA M14?

It's not about the "Kool" factor really, it's more for reliability, gas efficiency, and the fact that I've never owned a gbb smg. The mp7 does sound like a great gun, though a bit pricey, seems like it's worth it. And true they all shoot the same bb's but it's more or less reliability for me.

That explains a lot, thank you for clarifying. And I say they will probably get discontinued, some of the "tech" guys at asgi say they won't be receiving shipments anymore, meaning they discontinued. I only know what I've been told, ill be looking into it in detail soon. Also what about the kmp9? I've hear s great things about it, and it's well within my budget, a possible choice?

The MP9 functions the same as the MP7 in terms of performance, gas efficiency and range etc. however I prefer the ergonomics of the MP7. The MP7 has been VERY reliable to me, even in 30 degree weather :D Totally not ideal for a GBB, but that's how I roll. Anyway, get both of them (or the KRISS too) in your hands and figure out which one you like best ergonomically, that's the only thing that would dictate my choice between those options.

Edit: the MP7 is also VERY light, which I like.

No issues here if you're talking about KWA.  The KWA Kriss is complicated by mincing the real gun's recoil system, but seems to be reliable.  The LM4, MP7A1, M9 etc are simple, straight blow-back operation.

The weak point in any magazine fed gun is the magazine and GBB magazines are no exception.  It's the price for more realistic operation compared to AEG guns.

Just saying the mp7 is VERY gas efficient. Here in Indy it can get very cold at times, and I used it in 12 degrees and I still or a mag off! ( using semi only or a short burst)

I second that! I live in southern Oregon, and I've taken my MP7 out in freezing temperatures and still been capable of getting many kills. During the summer it's just a beast though, as it makes a very distinct POP for the entire 2+ full mags per fill of gas. Trust me, you can't go wrong with it.

The MP7 does sound very appealing now, i've done my research and it sounds like a great gun! Though sadly i've also found out that magazines are also very scarce. They do carry the 20rd "Shorty" mags at asgi, so now it comes down to this; Is it worth it, both for now and in the long run.

I intend to make it my primary in almost all my games for some time.

You guys are awesome too, your responses are very appreciated!

To be honest co2 magazines for ns2. For a gun though, I really think KWA should go for a DMR m14. KWA would profit big time. I know for a fact I would buy it.

I'd love to get my hands on a very well made Aeg, but honestly they plague with problems. The simplicity of GBB's is what attracted me the most!

My honest opinion about aegs, but I still own one of course.

Its about time KWA made an LMG. An M60 maybe? Even if it was an AEG that would be fine.
