I literally cannot wait for this. If it is even 2/3rds of what Boobie is saying, and I trust him, I want it so very badly. Hopefully we will be able to purchase it soon...

So that was .30 @ 380 fps?  So converting that to .20's would be 465 fps (which most outdoor fields limit is 400 fps with .20's).

Or did you chrono with .20's first, then play with .30's?  I am hoping you chrono'd with .20's and played with .30's, because that would be very exciting.

And if you did chrono with .30's, it must be nice to play with a responsible group of people that don't mind the higher fps.  I wish we had more of that in our area.

Edit:  And would you be able to chrono with .20's (if you haven't already), not that the LM4's really like them, but at least chrono for benchmarking and then test with other weights like .28 and .32's.  I would be happy to send you some .32's (Elite Force Milsim Max) and .28's).

Thanks for your research!

Sorry for confusion..all my fps is tested with .20g its a standard where i play..so 380fps which passes chrono for all the fields i play at..not sure what my fps is with .30. Id guess around 330?

That just made my day, my week, and the next few months. If the BB is hitting ~250ft using .30's @ 1.37J, I wonder what .30's @ 1.51J will do. I am excited!!

For quick reference (in <weight> = <FPS> format):

GBB - Joules increase with weight increase, while FPS drops (BoobieM4H)
.20 = 370 (1.3J)
.25 =
.28 =
.30 = 330 (1.55J)
.32 =

1.51J (Most common outdoor limit - AEG)
.20 = 400
.25 = 357
.28 = 338
.30 = 326
.32 = 316

1.59J (Lionclaws MilSim Series; some events have a caution range up to 1.67J - AEG)
.20 = 410
.25 = 366
.28 = 345
.30 = 335
.32 = 324

Of course, GBB's and AEG's have different physics affecting joules acting on a BB, but we won't talk about that dead horse...because it's dead, of course.

Ohh im the same way! If theres no vid or pics..it didnt happen! Haha! But ill see what i can do about getting some legit proof for yall..ill try to do something next weekend at an indoor cqb that just opened up..from looking at pics of the place, im sure i can get a nice clean 250ft shot there..no wind or anything else to effect the bb. Yea this place is huge. Place is called Combat Zone in Antioch CA.

Ooh I had no idea there was a new field in NorCal.
I'll be home in NorCal soon so this would be awesome to check out! I was a bit bummed to be leaving SoCal where all the fields are.

From what you say about the EvoII, it seems promising. Definitely looking forward to a production model. First I need to get my darn barrel nut off to put in the guarder bucking..

Boobie I'm excited to hear it working. From the picture you had put up beginning of the thread did you buy the kit that would fit in a glock cause if so I would buy that. Also I heard of the Combat Zone but I can't find it online, tell me if it's worth driving up there I'm from LA and the drive would be worth it for a great field.

Boobie, did you use stock (KWA) LM4 hopup dial? I got two EVOII, one installed onto M9 while the other is in LM4. I notice the stainless steel dial push the tensioner down more than the stock one, (comparing M9 dial and KWA LM4 dial) I was wondering if that makes a difference.

My evo2 kit was for a M17/18. So the hop up dial that came with it is notthe compatible with the lm4..so i had to use my oem hop up dial. I didnt know they made one for the m9 and lm4 yet...good to know they do

Seriously, this is what I want to know. I emailed AirsoftTaiwan and didn't get a response. Kull is talking like it's available or something.
