Me too. I am actually looking for material here to have such tensioners made. The idea came after I tried making the stock tensioner thicker and wider with some electrical tape. The result was unbelievable range and accuracy with 0.28.
So I am pretty sure this item is a good upgrade.

Not to pester Boobie about this, as he is doing us a service. But what's the word? Have you had a chance to do some, at the very least preliminary, testing?

Yeah let's cut Boobie some slack here, especially since even if he says its good or bad we won't be able to buy it yet.

In the meantime I've made an experimental flat hop nub for my hop up where I straightened the brass tab and cut two pieces of an old bucking to fit the area that puts pressure on the bb.  Didn't shave the exhisting bucking but I'm getting more even pressure along the bb.

With a cut down stock barrel and guarder bucking I am definitely getting more range and the groupings are better.  Hitting a tree 200 feet straight trajectory on a consistent basis.  With stock setup bbs would start dropping 10-15 feet short.  Bbs used goldenball .30 and yes I tried bending the brass before I sought something different.

Ok folks..i tried out my lm4 today at a private game..and all i have to say is WOW.
Using KSC .30g bbs and green gas, 63 degree weather, 380 fps, my lm4 was hitting targets out to 250ft no problem..and this is with the hop up off or lowest setting. Trajectory was flat all the way to the end. Basically i was blown away by the range.. and accuracy was amazing too..bb affter bb hitting man size torso everytime. If and when the evo2 kits get released, or they sell just the tensioner and maple leaf bucking..do not think twice about it..and buy it.

Ok Boobie, thank you for the update.  This sounds exciting!  Now, what we need is a real range test.  Measured target distance and all.  Field tests are important but a side by side vs OEM will prove invaluable!

Flat trajectory up to 250' and hitting a torso sized target is enough for me

I completely agree. I am just looking for measured verification.  Believe me when I say I trust Boobie's report.  That said, I constantly hear of 250' shots that, when pressed for proof, few can deliver.  That's why I'm asking.  I believe it can happen and I want the proof only Boobie can provide.  This is especially true given the fact that only he has the product!

Ohh im the same way! If theres no vid or pics..it didnt happen! Haha! But ill see what i can do about getting some legit proof for yall..ill try to do something next weekend at an indoor cqb that just opened up..from looking at pics of the place, im sure i can get a nice clean 250ft shot there..no wind or anything else to effect the bb. Yea this place is huge. Place is called Combat Zone in Antioch CA.

Boobie- Have you compared the Maple Leaf to the Guarder bucking directly? I'm just curious if it's the combo maple leaf/evo or just the evo that is giving the increase in range and accuracy.

I'm getting amazing range/accuracy results from the rat tbb+ guarder bucking , can't imagine the change with a better hop up arm.
