Seems like a lot of people are simply putting it in the pistols and not the LM4 like Boobie originally did.

Maybe it is not as effective with the pistols as it is with the Lm4. Perhaps we should be testing it with the LM4 to get final results.

I've tried 3 EVOII units in three different ATPs and M17s. None had any significant effect or benefit. I am confident in saying they're not worth it for pistols. If I have time this week I'll test it in an LM4 ... but so far ... I'm not confident.

Some of us have had excellent results with this setup. I personally have had it only get better as I put more rounds through it (in my LM4). My grouping has tightened up significantly, to the point of around 6-8 inches at 150 feet. To each his own, but if installed correctly it's well worth the money.

I have installed two different Evo II hop's in my LM4 and my Kriss and both have over-hopped .30's with the hopup turned off. I made sure I was installing everything correctly but now I'm beginning to think I must have done something wrong. I really don't see how I could have since all the parts only fit a certain way.

I'm going to tear down my LM4 again and bend the hop arm up slightly and see what the results are.

Read my previous posts in this thread... I had to slightly bend the arm as well.

Just confirming that the evo ii setup off  airsoft Taiwan  for the M17/M18 does indeed work in the lm4 correct? It's 30 bones so I'd like to be sure before I oder. Obviously not using the hopup round and barrel but everything else. Thanks

From my FPS test it did not change at all.

I didn't bother testing FPS after the horrible performance.

Wonder why it under performed for you, both Boobie and Dos Santos both had amazing results. I still havrnt been able to get out and test it yet myself.

His results are from a ATP, he hasn't posted results on the LM4 yet.

Definitely overhops .30s and actually shoots .40s better.  Accuracy and groupings improved heavily however madbull are the only makers of that weight and their bbs are crap.

Bent the arm and it shoots .30 just fine but over 150 ft it floats badly.  This could be due to my low fps, 360, but I've had better range with my modded flat hop.  Def not worth it for me : (, specially since my old mod cost me $0.

Went to a game yesterday. Half way through my bbs started dropping after 100ft. In between games I took the inner barrel out and the nubs on the maple leaf bucking were gone. It looks like they were just rubbed off. Could this be that the new arm is stiffer and the bucking is soft? I tried putting in my rat bucking but it isn't consistent at all some go 100ft and then others reach out to double that. I also tried both my 6.01 and factory barrels. I love my lm4 but this kind of stuff gets old.

Ok read that thread and found it pretty interesting, so I gotta ask;

Since I got the Asian Ball Bearing hopup unit and stuff, is there any way for me to use that setup as well?
Could I buy a "US" inner barrel, "US" hopup unit and the M17/18 Maple Leaf kit? (Would I actually need a new barrel or mine would work?)

I sent an email to RaTech asking these kind of questions but I don't expect them to be able to answer these questions, and my google/forum-fu didn't yield any good answers either...

Thanks

I think you could buy the RAT TBB and the Maple Leaf EVO II and you would be set.

Gentlemen,

I bent the tensioner arm a bit. Now I can use 0.36 Madbull BB with shocking accuracy.
This thing works. It might be necessary to fine tune it. Give it the necessary time.
