So... what is the maximum FPS possible in an airsoft gun?  Not the maximum safe fps, not the maximum practical fps.  How much do you think we could make a gun punch if one of us was so inclined?

AEG: ?

Sniper: ?

Gas: ?

Just a question induced by a thread in another section :)

With a few simple mods you can get a GBBR shooting well over 600fps. Id imagine you could get over 700 to even 800, though itd be unreliable as Hell.

I believe he was using a p* with modified solenoids.

Also, I recently picked up a kjw m700p.  I have seen reports of people getting over 1000fps shots with people trying to push it higher doing some custom mods.  They were also using a HPA rig.

At that speed, the BB impact on hard surface will disintegrate into powder.

Than again, Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
