I have a KWA/KSC M17 and I have a few questions.
Does it fire without a hammer spring?
How do I tell the problem is a hammer spring?

Hi mockingshot, welcome to the forums. The hammer that hits the gas release valve will not fire if the hammer spring is out of the gun. What kind of problems are you experiencing that makes you think a hammer spring is involved?

Springs can be worn, but still work...

Do you have any current photos of the hammer?

Also is it the spring or the actual hammer that is worn and or warped.

hammer spring, and no i have no pictures. the stock one at the proshop is OOS. I could always get a guarder spring but i would rather keep everything stock.

The hammer spring for the M17 should be the same one as the ATP if I am not mistaken.  Regardless, I would call KWA directly to see if they have some hanging around.  It's worth a shot!

They are open M-F (Closed Weekends and Holidays) 8:30-5:30 PST 626-581-1777

Hope this helps.

Okay so back to this thread. I ordered some cylinder springs for it because those were missing. i hope they work. I ordered them sunday morning and they just got processed. And may i ask why 2 oz springs cost $9.75 to ship? Like WTF how big is this box they are sending them in?!
