I know the Umarex is distributing all the KWA OEMed HK products. That said, I don't see the HK45 on Umarex's website.

http://www.umarexusa...ler-koch?ppp=18

I see the G36C, MP7, USP and USP Compact.

If they are discontinued, I may have to get one before its too late. I'm still mad at myself for not getting a M17.

KWA's money and time was wasted to put out a HK45 and Umarex doesn't even honor it now?

Yup, it's great isnt it. Screw over KWA just so they can make a little more $ off of a bunch of cheap pieces of crap. IMO the Hk lineup was KWA's best and I'll go onto say the best in the market.

It's really a sign of the times. Too many people doing what is best for them instead of what is right.

I already have the G36c, MP7 and USP. By the way, the USP is a work horse. I can always count on it to shoot. It's hard to find an Airsoft pistol you can count on.

Might just have to get the HK45.

On a side note, and to address the Umarex/KWA situation, let's refrain from casting disparaging remarks and judgement towards Umarex (or KWA of that matter).  While we have some insight to the issue, NONE of us can say for certain how or why the decision was made.  Again, the official response is: "Regrettably, because of reasons beyond our control, KWA no longer distributes HK licensed products.  Warranty service, replacement parts, and technical support will still be available to KWA customers"

'nuff said!

Wait, wait, wait… I just got this PM from Allizard regarding the drop of HK products.

"Our factory is still producing Umarex product.  The only different is Umarex will be distributing them exclusively."  -Allizard.

Ok, I thought I understood what was happening with Umarex, but my mind just exploded with confusion.

Correct me if I'm wrong... KWA will no longer be advertising these as pistols of their own. They will still make certain models, but they won't be under the KWA name. Since Umarex holds the license, they are selling them under their name exclusively now.

Sounds reasonable.....Thankfully, Allizard sent out a message.  Understand this too...KWA is OEM for a number of other airsoft companies....like...Umarex, KSC, yadda, yadda....

In those cases, the warranty is handled by the other company, the customer service and support is handled (typically) by the other company....and we ( the Moderators ) are not typically at liberty to comment regarding the product.

I am not a moderator, so if I might comment :P
To help understand what is going on with Umarex and KWA, all we have to do is look at the relationship between Umarex and VFC. I bought a Umarex HK416D GBB. I love it. Well built. When I looked at the box, there was nothing to tell me who actually made the rifle. If I was new, I would have thought Umarex was a new manufacturer. In fact, it was encouraged that all issues be addressed to Umarex. After 2 minutes of digging, I found VFC made the rifle, but they made it for Umarex. Due to legal reasons, VFC is not allowed to be identified with or sell a product that replicates a HK product. Only Umarex is allowed to distribute HK products using the HK name. What does this mean, it means companies like KWA, KSC, VFC and soon others, can not sell guns that look like, smell like, act like, read like HK models. The only way is to receive a build order from Umarex.
So I am pretty sure the KWA HK45 will soon come back as a Umarex HK45 (made by KWA, but we won't know this). I all ready started to see this change on some website. They are starting to refer to the HK45 as the Umarex HK 45. Here is an example: http://shop.ehobbyas...stol-black.html
I am not concerned, it is just legal mumbo-jumbo!

I couldnt agree with you more..i think this is exactly what is going on. You can even see in the product description link that kwa taiwan makes the hk45 listed on ehobby. But branded umarex.
