I'm so sad about the MASADA. Why didnt someone tell me about it when I asked a year ago (as if it was even planned then). I bought the PTS MASADA a year ago despite the fact that it was an AEG because there were no other accurate MASADA models on the market. Then I bought the LM4 despite the fact that it is a boring looking (IMO) rifle because it was (IMO) the best GBBR out there. Now you guys are putting them together. UGH, first-world problems.
I know its early prototype time, but is planned that the existing PTS upgrades (RIS, stocks) will fit. I'm assuming and hoping so. Also, still too early to ask, what about a GBB conversion? That would be the nicest to my wallet, plus I get to keep both guns. I'm sad. Also excited beyond belief. I've been waiting for one of these for a while.

So I guess this topic is just kinda a think tank about the KWA MASADA. I still want to know about the possibility of a GBB conversion kit and existing PTS upgrades fitting too.

Honestly I doubt we'll be seeing a AEG to gas conversion kit for non KWA Masada. Your best bet would to sell the LM4 or the Masada once the KWA masada is near release.
Also, If I were you id remove the last part of your post.

If i mod wants it down I'll take it down. Dont close it please mods. Im just throwing it out there. Nobody in my area is serious enough about airsoft to buy a $400 Masada. I just collect. With the KWA one coming out Im desperate to sell it it.

But like i said this topic isnt about me selling it, its more of a general discussion/wishlist for the masada.

You know it takes 2 years from the first announcement before you will see the gun in stores. You have plenty of time to save up and enjoy your Masada pts and lm4.

There's a reason why everyone looks forward to Shot Show, every year. The surprises... KWA is pretty good at keeping the surprise, a surprise. Though, the KWA X Magpul products were semi-leaked last week at the HK Toyfair 2013. Not that 1 week ago would have saved your purchases months/year back. Yes, get ready for more in a few hours!

I'm sure KWA did not purposely target you with release the LM4 prior to the Masada, to try and suck more money out of you. Even though successful companies look to make profit and make customers happy. ;) You have to remember that the LM4 is certainly seen as a perfect PTR product for the LEO. It would make sense to establish their LM4 as their foundation/base/flagship model, before moving on to other GBBRs. I would say that the Masada is a nice decision to add next to the GBBR line-up that needs variety. On the positive side, you don't have to doubt what the Magpul X KWA Masada will be, with a proven LM4 engine being transferred into a Masada body, being closely replicated by PTS. :D

Oh, I know the FV engine will  outstanding. Since its through PTS though I am hoping that the existing stocks, sling mounts, RIS, hanguards, etc. will fit. I am going to keep optimistic about a conversion kit, however, i do doubt they'll make one too.

Very expensive, but better than buying a whole new gun and you can get it now.

No, not better. $235 for the kit, plus about $200 in crappy, leaky G&P mags... not worth it. Also, that kit is pure garbage, read some reviews on it. The gas cylinder is of terrible quality and deforms to a point of uselessness within a couple hundred shots. Plus, the lack of reliability, bad gas effeciency, terrible accuracy, and inconsistant fps all add to the level of crap. I'm not trying to yell at you for suggesting it, it is just really terrible.

Thats why i got so excited when KWA announced this thing. It means a GBB Masada that works, and if its anything like the LM4, works great. Im just hoping KWA makes a kit also. If not, I'll work around it.

The sooner the better if you are going to get rid of your masada.  When more people find out about the KWA they will probably be less inclined to buy the AEG version.

Problem is that there is no airsofter in Michigan other than me who would buy the Masada AEG. Everybody here is pretty much into springers and WalMart AEGs.

Think of this way, every KWA you purchase is paying forward to new products.  Without loyal customers like you, there won't be any new development.  I said that every time when I shell out few hundreds for my next Apple iPhone or Canon camera.  ;)

At least you will have plenty of time to save up for the next purchase.

So is that a "no" on the conversion kit?

Is that a "dont bother waiting for the kit" or "dont write off the kit quite yet"?

Let me put it this way, the conversion kit cannot achieve what the original Masada was designed for.  A true multi-caliber system.

I don't KWA or PTS would confirm an AK Lower or not. Ideas/details of an AK lower may not be even ironed out yet since making a mold for the lower, and, my guess, new magazines as well would be too costly.

However... A true multi-caliber system would mean, other than a 5.56... 7.62 would be an AK lower...

My educated guess would be, KWA would see how well the Magpul Masada does, before considering a 7.62 lower and magazines.
