I can see how SDK would feel that was directed towards him, as you did directly quote him. I can also see why he would feel that was a personal attack.

At this point we are off topic, which was your feeling of lack of communication updates from KWA. For what it's worth, I have seen computer gaming (card games like Magic) companies that would give quarterly or semi-annual "State of the Game" announcements. This seemed to be a happy medium to keep the community happy with updates on the current status of upcoming expansion sets or software updates.

Ahh yes, after reading that again, I can see where the confusion started, and I do apologize for that sincerely. But the fact still remains that I intended this thread and my question regarding the ATP Auto to be answered by an employee or rep of KWA. Not one of it's forum users. I couldn't agree more with you that at least a little but of an update would make for a happier user-base.

The question still stands.. :\

The ATP Auto along with other models shown during the "2012" SHOT show are scheduled for release in 2013.  We sincerely apologize for the delay.

Thanks Radix for the answer. I might just have to wait for the ATPA instead of getting a M9 PTP. The reason I did not get a ATP in the first place is I heard mixed results from it, but I'll give it a go.

I think this discussion is pretty much ran through it's course.  But before I closed it, I like to make a final comment.

In 2012 we have indeed announced quite a few products, some new, some are left over or repackage from 2011.  Many people asked about the release dates and estimate times of arrival. There are lot of factors play into a release such as Supply chain issue, Changed of priorities, Business decision, Engineering difficulties just to name a few.  One thing we do try our best is to deliver a good solid product upon launch date.  Sure we have had our SNAFU in the past, but we've learned from mistakes and minimized the impact to consumer.  The highest priority over everything else in 2012 was the release of Kriss Vector project.  Because this was a worldwide release, this project was the most critical and took priority over the rest of the projects just to meet the deadline.  And frankly, it was so close that I was afraid it would have missed the deadline.   I'm glad it didn't and the release was very successful.

As for 2013, we will push out products announced from 2011.  Will some products get push back due to unforeseen circumstances? I can't say that for sure.  But I think taking a "cautiously optimistic attitude" will be a good idea.   One thing I will have to clarify, because of the confusion of Estimate Release dates. KWA will no longer discuss the release date on future products unless it's near imminent release.   That said, I'm looking forward to 2013 and we still have a lot of surprises coming.  ;)
