I plan on getting the kwa mp7 soon and I was wondering what is in the low power bolt that lowers the fps. Would this just be a weaker valve like the dangerworx flute valve or is it something else? How hard is it to take apart the bolt, if I would want to replace the valve?

The Low Power Bolt is supposed to bring you to about 350 fps. Installing the low power bolt is as easy as taking out the normal bolt, and swapping it out with the Low powered version. It even says "Low Power" on the bolt so you can easily identify which bolt is inside the gun.

If this doesn't help, you can reference this video:

I know that, and I have even found a video on how to replace the valve.

My question is: What feature is different in the low power bolt to drop down the fps? Is it the valve or is it something else?

Believe it is the valve. But buying a completely new bolt is much easier and faster than buying the rocket valve which takes time and tools to swap in and out of the bolt.

I am running the low bolt right now.  It dropped my fps from 400 to about 300-320.  I do have the RA Tech adjustable flute valve with the adjusting rod that I am looking to sell if interested.  Real easy to install.  If you can remove the original bolt you can install the flute valve.

Just a friendly reminder that there's no buying/selling/ advertising on these forums... take it to the PM if interested.
