so theres a lot of talk about these HFT green o-rings that pretty much make LM4 FPS consistency perform like a boss.

is this the o-ring being replaced?

You are correct, replacing that o-ring with the Harbor Freight O-Ring gives you a more consistent FPS.

Since it comes as a 205 pack, are there other o-rings in the lm4 that can be replaced with the HFT ones?

Has anyone compared these o-rings to the O-ring that comes with the RA Tech NPAS?

I believe the kit comes with another size used on the mag release valve. A008.

To decrease fps, I believe you just need to cut 1.5 coils off the the valve spring. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

For o-rings which is better, HFT or Danco? I've heard both thrown around, and I was just curious if one was better than the other.

Not sure if one is better than the other... But HFT comes in a kit as opposed to a single danco oring.

I have the danco packaged orings which was recommended over just buying one and it seems to be tooo tight.  When I pull the nozzle out it doesn't snap back into the bolt.  In fact I have to nudge it back and I've tried 4 of them all with same results.  Boobie recommends the harbors so I'm going with that even though the dancos are much cheaper.

Which o-ring exactly from that HFT set is the one for the lm4 nozzle?

Which Danco O-ring did you try.  The two part numbers mentioned are #60 and #61.  They're different sizes.

Danco O-rings are usually packaged in 5 or 10 packs, although the #61 I just received is 5 individually packaged rings.  5 little envelopes inside a larger envelope.  Something like $2.50.

We have at least 2 O-ring threads running.  Would be nice to combine them until we determine the parts needed!  :)

I got the 10 pack of #10, my shots are very sporadic and I didn't occur that it may be the oring until I spoke with boobie

Talking about the oring that goes on the nozzle, not the release valve middle oring in the mag.

Okay, so it seems the single packaged danco #10 orings is the way to go because the packaged ones are too thick.

As for the harbor freight hnbr greens it is P014

35/64"x23/32"x3/32"

The hnbr ones are wayyyy better than the packaged #10 danco, my fps was super consistent on the chrono, 280-299, using .30s and a shortened stock barrel.  Can't wait to game with it now having passed the chrono test.

I've got the HFT HNBR P014 O-rings in 2 short barrel LM4's Using Frog lube.  I'm getting 347-351 FPS with .30G KWA perfect BB's, out of both of them.  dont stretch the green O-rings they dont shrink back too well :blinded: .
I'm going to try out some X type O-rings next, ill post the results when they arrive in the mail.

Stock barrel cut to cqb length then crowned and polished, just chrono'd them today on a madbull black chrono, and if anything they have a habit of chronoing low.
