I recently got a M18C for Christmas, and with the exception of one problem it has been great. The problem is that I am unable to move the selector switch to semi. I lock the slide back and it will move from safe to full auto, but it won't go to semi. I bought it used on my state forum from a reputable seller, and he said everything worked fine before he shipped it. Has anyone else had this problem? I tried to disassemble the slector switch components, but I don't have the Allen wrench needed to unscrew the grub screw located under the rear sight. Does anybody know he size and where I can find one?

hanging when going from sa to fa or vice versa was always the big problem on these...

just by chance when your trying to change the position are you pushing IN on the lever?     give that a try..  lots of times as these get some wear on them you have to just hold a little pressure against them & then they will flip right over.

Yeah I push in the lever and push it upwards. It doesn't budge. I think it may be because the grub screw is too tight, however I don't have the 0.9mm Allen wrench needed to loosen it. Could that possibly be my problem?

that grub screw goes down into a slot on the pin....   so maybe it could .. but i doubt it.

theres a little ball behind that lever & a tiny spring...   and the piece that goes in from the back that the grub screw goes thru is whats always broke on mine.

if that broke it could be why it wont change for you... its only a few dollars in the pro shop.   :-)

Well the problem is I can't see if the ball is there/replace because to remove the selector components I need to unscrew the grub screw. I think I will try to find an Allen wrench, someone told me that it is 0.9 mm. Hopefully that will fix my problem.
