I am looking for a new scope for my DMR and this one has caught my eye.

What do you guys think? Do any of you have any recommendations?
I do plan on getting my gun hydro dipped along with the scope so i need it to be water proof/rain proof (thats the same thing right? haha)

Rainproof is just what it says, "rain" should not harm the lens.  Waterproof means that the optic can survive submersion in water to a specified depth.  EOTechs, for instance, have a waterproof rating of between 10ft and 33ft depending on the model.

Actually my EOTech SU-231/PEQ (M553) is rated as "Waterproof:  Submersible to 66 ft depth."

This is, of course, a real EOTech, not an $40 copy.  ;)

Sorry I missed the upper limit on your unit.  Some of the other real EOTechs are rated to lesser depths of 10ft or 33ft (1 ATM).
