I don't believe there are top rails for the ATP. Is there?

Not kwa ones, I don't believe. But any other brand or real steal would be helpful.

I've seen a top rail mount for m-series guns, especially one made by hurricanE if my memory serves me correctly. Google searching now, I've come up with this choice... Be wary though, this may not fit the ATP, but it's worth a shot right?

That's all I can find now, I'll let you know if I can locate one in the future.

I would be worried about the extra weight you place on the slide.  If the rail and the sight you put on is too heavy the slide my not cycle properly.

You can get one for the M17 on evike that attaches to the bottom rail and goes over the slide similar to an ak scope mount or a mp5 claw mount, so as to not put stress on the slide

Optimus is right. There would be no stress on the slide if you use a rail mount that mounts to the rail on the frame.
