1911 MKII powerstroke

If you want to wait...The M1911A1 US Army has a redesigned slide that will allow you to power stroke the gun. But the gun hasn't been released yet, and there is no word on when it will be out. So, it'd be well worth the wait if you want an out of the box airsoft training replica of a classic M1911A1.

There's another thread on the inability to cycle the slide on the Mark-series from slide lock.
BTW you can cycle the M9PTP from slide lock because KWA copies the Beretta slide lock spring that pushes it down; the M1911 depends on the slide to push the lock down.
Here's the same photo I posted a couple of days ago in the other thread that shows the difference in a real vs KWA M1911.

A little disappointing that KWA designers didn't faithfully copy either the M4 or M1911 design but perhaps they couldn't. I suspect the design changes were necessary for reliable slide/bolt lock when firing. There's only so much realism you can put into an airsoft gun and lock open when empty is a highly desirable feature.
