I wondering if you guys could tell about these guns and such.

if this is still against the rules, please forgive me.  (I could not really find anything about which gun threads)

G&G

KWA M4
http://www.airsoftgi...roducts_id=2887

I know KWAs have better internals, but I'm not sure if the quality control is bad, or the reason for all the threads about people's KWA M4s having problems is from inexperienced airsofters who buy them and don't know what they are doing.  One thing I don't like about KWAs is they have problems fitting aftermarket parts and such.  You have to pair certain buckings with certain barrels and that's not even guaranteed to work.   G&Gs come stock with a 6.04 tb, but do you think it would be better to have a prommy in it instead. (I don't know how good their barrels are and how close it is to a 6.04)  If you could just give me some info, and possibly PM me what gun you think would be a better choice, that would be great.  I don't want to upgrade anything with the gearbox.  Do you think if I put a prommy in the G&G it would shoot even faster?  (I want something a little hotter, but I don't want to upgrade the spring or other mechbox parts)  Do you think it would be somewhat bad to use a 9.6 with the G&G?  I don't mind using an 8.4 at all.  I high rof isn't really important to me.  I usually use semi a lot anyway.

sorry for all the topics lately

thanks guys

Go with  KWA, just one  question? What happened to the G36K (was it you who couldnt decide to get a KWA G36c or a G36k)? KWA will last you longer without upgrading, its more bang for your buck!

Here is my opinion.

For the G&G -
Yeah that gun looks cool, and you all know how much I love crane stocks  , but its fps is not what a $320 m4 should be at. Honestly, they just gave the GR-16 a crane stock and an RIS system and put an extra $70 or so on the price tag. Another thing, it does not come with a carrying handle, and you probably know this, but the carrying handle is SO CONVENIENT! I mean you will find yourself always carrying your m4 by its handle.

I was also thinking about getting a G&G m4. The one MAJOR thing that threw me from getting one is that the charging handle is not functional and you could damage your barrel by using it. I know somebody would want to see my gun and as soon as they saw it they would pull back the charging handle, let it go, and break my barrel.

And for the KWA -
What more could you ask for? Yeah, I guess you couldn't upgrade it as much as the G&G but the reason you can't is because IT IS ALREADY UPGRADED! I mean, 400fps crushes the 330 of the G&G. Plus it has a 45 day warrenty, compared to the 15 day warrenty of the G&G.

So in the end, the KWA wins my opinion. :)

Oh man... I take offense on that comment.  I wrote a compatible list even on ASF just to show what barrel+bucking works and what doesn't work.   In fact a lot of high quality barrel does work with systema/TM bucking, don't tell me it doesn't fit.

I have seen your list Allizard and it's beautiful. :D  I was wanting to use a firefly bucking, but KWAs usually don't work with them.  (or what I have read)  I want a prommy or DBC, still not sure which.

Idk, I will probably end up getting the KWA, but they need to fix some things.  (I see a lot of electrical problems on this forum such as trigger blocks)

as far as the G36K thing, SRCs parts are apparently slightly different than TM parts, so it may not even work.  My friend is going to use my idea though lol

thanks guys

KWA isn't a company that made something and let it sit there like a year before they decided to revise the design.  It's constant improvement.  The M4A1 that's I have since debut Nov 07 doesn't even have the same gears and piston like the new one.  The gearbox already when through several revisions.  Some revisions are minor, and some are more notice-able.  And if you know the amount of units that's been sold the failure rate is extremely low.  What you hear on forum are usually people that have issues.  That's why it seems you hear more, however the rest of silence majority just don't have a reasons to complain.  Does it makes sense to you?

this makes so much sense thats why I chose the kwa m4 over every other brand. For every kwa owner with complaints with their m4's there are much more that are satisfied with their guns :)

I plan on adding to your list when I get my Prometheus and Guarder buckings in the mail.  I've ordered two sets of each to see if there will be any size/fit variance.  It seems that I got one of the Systema buckings that the stock unit won't fit over.
