My son has a CQR Mod 1. We just replaced the cylinder with the .5 from the pro shop. While we were in there we replaced the o-ring with one from the hardware store. We didn't stretch it but only lubed it with silicon shock oil. The compression testing seemed good. Couldn't move the piston with the CH plugged with a finger.
Does it need to be stretched or is it optional?

Hi Holderp - Welcome to the KWA Forums.  While stretching is recommended if you had good compression then you should be good to go.  Have you tested the before and after FPS?

Expect closer to 380-390 with .2g BBs and 345-355 with .25g BB's.

I'd say that is what is to be expected.
