Is it possible to send in my kp.45 to KWA and have them install the new gas system for a price?

Are the magazines interchangeable between the newer and older models?

We are not offering the service because it may not be economical for most owner's of the previous version KP45/KP8.  More than 50% of the pistol is different from the previous version.

You'll be buying many parts to replace plus modify the slide to fit new gas system.  It can be done but it's not worth the time and effort to get it updated.

No, the magazines are not interchangeable.

Will KWA still be offering the older magazines for sale? or slowly phase them out?

I encourage it.  I've received my KP8 Compact and it's by far the hardest kicking KWA product to date. I'll even go as far ask to say more than the PTP M9 Tactical's shock.

We will still be supporting the old system, but parts will be limited and eventually phased out.  You should be fine for another 2 years or so ...

Dude... your KP8 is modded.  Of course it's harder kick than the M9 Tactical.
