From what I recall the new LM4's ship with the 'power-stroke' and increased angle on the engagement lever. I haven't done the 'power-stroke' mod yet but my LM4 wasn't locking every time and not with all mags, so I basically just bent the engagement level down a little bit, works like a charm now. I'm glad that KWA has taken notice to the shortcoming and then actually did something about it, now could we PLEASE have some one-piece upper receivers? :P

I don't feel I am always set the bar high just feel that KWA should have all the extremities like the other platforms. Rome wasn't built over night and the world was made from great men with extravagant ideas!

I have been trying to convince PTS to sell the Mega Arms uppers separately. The answer I got was they might consider it. I wouldn't hold my breath with KWA considering all their AR-15 uppers are multi-piece.

That Mega Arms upper sure is sexy, though personally I wouldn't care what kind it is as long as it's more stable and solid than the multi-piece upper. A Magpul upper of some kind would be sweet in my opinion, I'd buy it in a heartbeat regardless of how much it costs!

Just want to add another confirmation, my new LM4c, ordred from ASGI on June 4 arrived today, and was able to power-stroke without mods. And also, this forum has been amazing to read for the past few weeks before I decided to order my LM4, so thanks to everyone on here

Yeah, after firing about fifty rounds through it so far, I can never go back to AEGs, haha. Now it's time to get sucked into the money pit known as upgrades...

Epitah- I think there was a picture from when they first released it floating around the forum somewhere.

Anyone who has the new revision- Did they add a spring under the bolt catch and remove the old detent and spring? The parts diagram doesn't reflect any such a change. I would imagine that what they would have had to do to enable power stroking.

Yes, there is now a spring at the bottom of the bolt catch

And I would assume they removed the bolt catch detent also? The catch doesn't click into position any more does it?

I'm not sure where the detent you are referring to is located, but no, the bolt catch doesn't have any position to 'click' into when the bolt is forward.

It's part number 56 on the LM4 parts diagram. It's located on the mag well side of the impact block. The old LM4s, like mine, click into both the raised and lowered  positions. This prevented them from engaging the bolt catch if the gun was tilted. Unfortunately it was also what prevented power stroking.
