You can buy a complete, new gearbox with the cylinder and spring to your specs right out of the Pro Shop for a bit over $100. You can then use your old box as your "play with the mechanicals" box and not risk having your gun out of service when you need it. But, really, after all this time and rounds down range why not just get a new CQB-type gun and have the whole old gun to take apart, etc.

This just about what I did to my SR-7....I just stayed with stock motor.....my CQB field is Semi only 90% of the time.

is an absolutely brilliant FET. It is easier than the Raptor to install, and while I have only installed it in a VFC SCAR (I did it for a friend, don't hate me!) it performed flawlessly. I can only imagine it would be every bit as good in a KWA. Note: they only come rear wired so in the SR series the would be fine.

I like to use the sorbo pad from an old cylinder head... That always seems to be just right for me... If you don't have an old one just buy a few diffrent sizes of sorbo... They are pretty cheap, about $3 or $4 each... Just watch a video and go slow... The hardest part is shaving the teeth off the piston... I use a dremel but for your first time just use a file so you don't take off to much... It will take a little longer but it will be right... 2nd tooth completely removed and half of the 3rd tooth... Thats it, pretty simple mod should take no longer then 10 min max... I use super glue for the sorbo pad...
