How does it stack up against other weapons on the field? (accuracy, performance, etc)  Anybody used it in a game yet?

Hikaru has fielded the LM4 before and has a video on YouTube of it in action. His channel is: CLANCAMP.

With the hop up off, using .30's I found the effective (consistent) range to be 75'-100' for body shots. You can hit a head size (10" target) consistently up 75'.

With a little cooperation with the wind I was able to counter snipe by pulling off a headshot from about 150'.

I was able to field it today, I found that the range was decent (about 100 or so feet) but the goupings were SO spread apart it was very ineffective in open, woodland games that I play in. CQB I'm sure this baby shines but I don't think it's very practical for woodland gaming at least from my experience SO FAR.

Used at a cqb game last week and it was awesome. but i have to say it is going to take a lot of work to get this thing ready for any type of outdoor game it just doesnt have the range or the accuracy that i am used to with my kwa sr10

Don't forget gas gun also have break in period.  Give it sometime... the grouping will stabilize.

I zero my gun in a confined space 50-60' so hop really doesn't come into play, plus I didn't bring my adjustment tool to the field.

Had my first game with the LM4 today and was VERY pleased. It turned a lot of heads and I received a lot of comments about it. The gun was able to do everything I asked it (including CQB and field). The only time I was at a slight disadvantage was when I was exchanging fire with a group of enemies about 150~ feet out. While my BBs could reach them, it was a little difficult (perhaps the hop needs adjusted, not entirely sure) to find their mark. Most of them went where I wanted them to go, but that wasn't the disadvantage. The issue was getting used to these low-cap mags! This gun requires a lot of trigger discipline, and I was weary of when I was going to put down any sort of suppressing fire. The group of enemies could easily sling 20+~ BBs my way whenever they popped out while I only fired 2-3.

Despite that part of my day, the gun performed flawlessly and got me several kills with only 1-3 shots which was awesome. Makes you feel empowered over the nubs who have to lay into you with full auto in my opinion. I can't wait to go play with it again.

I think the accuracy of the gun more than makes up for round capacity disadvantage. Like you indicated the LM4 will teach you trigger discipline. Although a stream of BBs is intimidating, you can still lay effective suppressive fire one BB at a time. :)

In general I find the GBBR's sound more suppressive than the rounds. I was able to keep my enemy at bay one time with WE M4 on semi auto despite the fact that the mag jammed (no bb coming out)

The one thing I notice about this GBBR compared to others was the diversity of reports. Some were really positive others were really negative. Some say this is unreliable like AGM others say its KJW's competitor Same goes with accuracy and range.

Personally I haven't be able to test the range but from what I run through (50') it was awesome for grouping.

I have used my customized lm4 several times now in play both indoor cqb where it really shines......and out doors. the gun was drifting high and left with .25's at 100 feet. after a lengthy hopup adjustment process i finally found the hops sweet spot and am now able to easily make center mass body shots at 150 ft. i may try out some .28's to see if that helps but so far it has been spot on for me. no problems as yet with the gun, only time will tell about its longevity. mine gets used very frequently at my indoor cqb field and as a demo so it will get used well and often. it is approaching 5,000 rounds fired.

I fielded mine Saturday as well and it was quite a joy to shoot.  I agree with Nightmare, trying to get used to the mag capacity is a challenge, I found myself undershooting more often than not.  It kinda surprised me.  My hop-up was a little finicky but I expect that to level out when I have more rounds through it and have extra time to adjust the hop-up.

I fielded my LM4 yesterday and it performed great. It was 106 degree weather and the LM4 shot so good! Other folks on my team couldn't use their WE m4 because of the weather and mags getting too hot. The fields fps limits is 400fps so I had to tune mine down. I chronoed in at 360fps. And as the day got hotter im guessing I was closer to 400fps. Double/triple tap kills ALL day at ranges of 100+ft with .30g bbs (bioval). My loadout consisted of 10 mags for the LM4 so I was good in all the games..no reloading out in the field..and yes it does take a lot of discipline to run gbbrs but as long as your hop up is consistant and you have good range with a heavy bb you can compete with the best aegs out there.
Ill try to post a video of me using it. Sometimes I have problems posting to my yt channel from my contour cam..I don't have the right editing equipment so it might be a long vid of me jus hiding out lol.

Hey all,

I too was able to field my LM4 Saturday and for the first time at that. Let me first say I've owned G&P, WE, GHK, and KJW GBBr's over the years and of these I am most impressed with how well the LM4 performed it's first time out. Tossed in some KSC .30 bb's and was easily reaching 200+ feet, in about 90 degree weather. To my surprise the LM4 out ranged the majority of players, all using AEG's. I had several players approach (or yell at me in game) asking about the FPS. So far I'm very satisfied with this platform, the build is rock solid and ran great all day long. I am loving the range and accuracy I was getting, considering the lower FPS.

Only complaint to mention and it's very minor, the finish is easily chipped/scratched away. I've got a very gnarly scratch about 3 inches long on the upper receiver from the corner of a magazine while the gun was slung on my chest. I have no problems acquiring some battle scars but I must say I'm a little sad to see her pretty face get such a bad gouge the first day out. Boo hoo I know... ;)

I'll work on getting the footage from the game up soon.

The finish on the upper is definitely something KWA can improve on.  Link us to your footage when you upload it.

Yea finish could be better..I'm planning on sand blasting my upper and lower and redoing the finish with some stuff they use on real firearms..I won't be doing the work myself..a friend of mine will be..I suck at painting! The coating that he uses is scratch resistant and very durable..ill post pics when I get it done..it'll probably be in a few weeks as I'm waiting in line to get mine done
