on evike, and i wana pick one up and try it out in my mp7, but i looked through the parts diagram and saw no "piston" anyone know what part number this is? and has anyone tried it yet? for 12 bucks i will try it out and see if it helps on gas efficiency

Looks like a heavy weight Part #30 (main seal base) from the parts diagram.

I agree with Chuck regarding what it looks like and probably is.  Remember, there are lots of parts out there touted as upgrades that do nothing to improve function and many time actually reduce performance.  If the length is different from the OEM part it will change the gas dynamics....How it changes that is difficult to say.

This is the same part as the RA-Tech MP7 Hard Kick kit:

I installed this in my MP7 but honestly I don't feel much differences.

again im not looking for recoil, but for 12 dollars il try it out and see if we can get more gas efficiency,

Sure. I am guessing this one Evike sells is a little longer so it will increase the rate of fire also, anyway let us know what happened!
