Definitely feels like a different gun now that I took the barrel down.

I don't run optics most of the time.  But I do have an ACOG if the need arises.

Changed out the CompM2 Replica with a Vortex SPARC and while you can't see it in the picture, I took off the MOE pistol grip and replaced it with a CAA grip.

I think one of the best parts of the SPARC is the fact that they have a lifetime warranty. As long as you don't purposely break the sight they'll fix it. That and the fact that they're designed to actually handle recoil, unlike the majority of Airsoft sights. I've gone through 4 Airsoft replica sights that have given out I'd imagine due to the recoil from my TM SOPMOD (Hard Recol Kit Installed) and the LM4.

I should have just bought the SPARC in the first place and been done with it haha.

My very first red dot was a clone EOTech.  I say red dot because at $100 it clearly wasn't a holographic optic.  I put it on my new (at the time) KM4A1 Gen 1 and shot away.....it switched colors (red to green) and then off entirely.....I gave it to my son who traded it to a friend who, by the way, was quite happy with it.  Regardless, I have to RS EOTechs (512.A65 and XPS2-0) which I switch off to real guns....I'm actually thinking of getting rid of them and buying 3 SPARCs.

How do you like the 2X extension?  That seems like a nice feature for sighting at long distances.  I wouldn't run with it because of the FOV drop but to follow 200ft plus shots when testing a build it might be nice.

Sorry for the crappy photo, using my phone. Tape on the stock is to keep the fake CTR friction lock engaged.
