First, remove bottom plate and the two screws.
From the top, remove the two small hex screws and the pin holding the feed lip assembly.
Get out some pliers.
Kind of like... pulling a tooth. Grip as shown and pull. If you don't want to hurt the finish like I did use some rubber spacers.
Remove the follower and spring, as well as the two plastic arms.
Remove this pin from the inside.
Another view of that pin from the inside, push it outwards to allow the silver thingy out.
Great success! Feel free to adjust to your whim.
For those more adventurous, remove the two bottom side screws and pins.

Remove the two side screws and pull the copper piece out. One of the screws on mine had its threads stripped from the factory, causing a leak. Suppose I need to call the pro shop.
That's it! The PMag is in fact not doomed! I actually prefer its design to the GI Mag, as the feed lip part is easier to access and because its smaller will probably be cheaper. If you have any questions comments or concerns, feel free to contact me.
