Taken from the owner's manual:

GENERAL MAINTENANCE FOR KWA GAS BLOW BACK

Green gas is a liquid propellant which tends to dry out the seals and o-rings. With lubricating
silicone oil, it will extend the life of the seals and o-rings and prevent gas leaks.

Use only the recommended 100% silicone oil, available for purchase at the Airsoft dealer where
you purchased your KWA products. Any other type of lubricant may damage the products.

Lightly lubricate the recoil spring, cylinder and moving parts with a few drops of oil. Lubricating
the seals and o-rings are essential. Unload BBs from the magazine. Make sure the magazine
is free of gas before lubricating the magazine’s charging valve and release valve.

Also, here is a link to the manual....I figured you would like to read up on the gun while you are waiting.

Enjoy!: http://kwausa.com/fi..._VECTOR_V01.pdf

Is it bad to use the spray silicone?

Do not use spray silicone.  It can swell the bucking rendering the gun inoperable due to jamming.  Use only 100% pure non-aerosol silicone.  There should be some provided with your Vector.  If you need to get more you can use 20-30wt R/C shock silicone oil.  It's cheap and easy to find online.

It should also be noted that you CAN'T put spray silicon anywhere on the gun. It will ruin something, trust me. Best just to throw away any spray stuff you have.

P.S. Freakin' awesome profile pic! Love RvB!

I'd say for the bolt you'd want to put some where it rides on every time it blows back or the "rails". As for the cylinder I believe they are one in the same. Both are just one piece which is the bolt. Also there's most likely going to be an O-ring that at the back of the bolt or nozzle that seals with the bolt carrier itself and you really want to keep that lubricated because that's where all if not most of your FPS and consistency comes from. Having a good seal there will ensure your GBB to run smooth for a long time. Just don't get lube in the hopup bucking and DON'T USE SPRAY LUBE. I'd recommend GHK's 1000cs oil it works wonders and it's relatively cheap around $5.

Also quick question. Where did you hear that the second batch of KRISS Vectors was going to be 1/13? I can't find a accurate ETA for it anywhere.

For charging the magazine with gas I'd say the same with your GBB pistols just add a few more seconds. I'd say max 10 seconds or so.

Hmmm that's interesting. Well only time will tell. Hopefully they'll get some spare mags along with their second shipment.

I would say at least 30 seconds since it has a much larger gas reservoir than conventional GBB pistols.
