Looks like we're going to be getting some LWRC LM4s and AEGs too. They say that they're going to make the M6-IC, PSD, and REPR (which I think is chambered in .308). Im loving how successful the LM4 system has been with training/LE and all these liscening deals its been picking up lately.

Yup definitely great news, especially since we'll hopfully be able to purchase these receivers and accessories separately down the road.

I live about 15 minutes from LWRC.  I have just purchased a M6A2 SPR from a local FFL.  I would like to get a REPR before O'Malley(Gov.) makes it impossible.

This is great news! I can't wait to get a M6-IC LM4 (LM6-IC). I hope they make also make a M6A2.

My favorite AEG of all time, and which I still have, the Classic Army M6A2.  To hear the KWA got the license, there will be a GBBR, and I am purchasing an M6IC, make me so excited.  I see the cash leaving my wallet now...

Did someone call?  :)

The real LWRC REPR is 7.62mm NATO, not .308 Winchester but will shoot either, of course.

Here's my LM4 and LWRC M6 side by side to tide y'all over until the KWA LWRC versions start to appear.  I wonder if KWA will be reproducing the chrome bolt and carrier and the lack of a gas key on the bolt carrier.  Note the LWRC is a "mid-length" gas and handguard system.

The LM4 wears a reproduction Aimpoint CompM4; the LWRC M6 wears an Aimpoint CompM4s with the controls moved to the lower corner and out of the way.  Both wear my preferred "signature" M16A1 pistol grip without the silly finger thingie.  I've only recently weaned myself off the tear-drop forward assist.

The light on the left side of the gun allows a right handed shooter to thumb the on/off switch without resorting to fragile tape switches.  I know.  I know.  "Seal Team Six" and "Delta" use tape switches and the lights usually on the other side -- but we buy their stuff for them and they can put new switches on anytime they like!

I doubt there will be GBB versions or the R.E.P.R. It would require KWA to design and produce all new magazines. There aren't even any WA/KA/KJW/(whoever else makes that GBB system) compatible .308 models on the market. My assumption is that they will be AEGs since mags are already available.

I don't know. The LM4 has really taken off in the training market. If theres a need for a .308 trainer.

The question is how much need is there for a .308 trainer? I just can't see an airsoft gun as a viable option for intermediate range support training, since the max range is maybe 200ft at best. The only training I have done with airsoft guns is room clearing/ship boarding. Anyone with more experience than me on this topic please chime in.

You have a point. But, that doesn't mean that the commercial/civilian market can't enjoy these airsoft replicas, right? :)

Back onto the range issue: maybe with a longer barrel (and some KWA pixie magic technology) these guns CAN reach out to 200+ feet and touch someone? Time will tell. A man can only hope. :D

I just realized that if KWA is going to do the M6-IC correctly that means they either have troy licensing or maybe PTS does. Hopefully that means we will be able to get factory ambidextrous parts for the LM4.

Funny you mention that... I was day dreaming the other day and the thought of a KWA x Troy Industries LM7 (M7) entered my mind.

12.5" REPR would be sweet either GBBR or AEG.

I think your going to need a custom barrel for that. Shortest REPR is 16.1". 7.62x51mm doesn't run well under that length from what I understand.
