Why are there so few cheap 15c 11.1 lipos?  All the cheapest are 20c and out of spec like th elite battery mentioned above.  Am I looking in the wrong places?

Although they are slightly out of recommended spec they are just fine to use.

I am inclined to say that it will but it doesn't have the dimensions listed on the site. Also that particular battery has the deans connectors so unless you have already upgraded to deans I would look for something with tamiya.

I do not think that will fit in a crane stock, and if it does it would be kind of tight. I know that battery would fit in the front wired guns and also the full stock.

However, this one should fit?

The turnigy 1.4 3s is very tight and I don't recommend. Does Antony use it? Do you have any pointers to make more room?

Would need to see how the battery is configured.  Without seeing it my inclination is no.

I'm looking for a high c-rated 11.1v LiPo for my heavily upgraded KWA. I understand the dangers of using a LiPo and have taken the necessary precautions.

I used the RA-Tech LiPos, but those finally died after a few years of use. I need to replace them with a LiPo that will fit inside a KWA crane stock (but not in the buffer tube, only in the buttplate or sides) and standard M4 handguard.

I was looking at these two. What is the largest size I can fit?

http://hobbyking.com...RSOFT_Pack.html
http://hobbyking.com...RSOFT_Pack.html

I purchased some BOL LiPos (http://shop.ehobbyas...cells-pack.html), but they are not sufficient to run my extremely high ROF setup. I need at least 25C constant discharge.

I understand the buttplate can take a 100x30x16mm sized battery maximum.

I assume this is too large to fit inside: http://hobbyking.com...RSOFT_Pack.html and http://hobbyking.com...RSOFT_Pack.html and http://hobbyking.com..._Lipo_Pack.html and http://hobbyking.com..._Lipo_Pack.html and http://hobbyking.com..._Lipo_Pack.html and http://hobbyking.com..._Lipo_Pack.html

I know this will work (http://www.hobbypart...hort-asoft.html), but I really need a higher constant discharge rating.

A nunchuck configuration that best fit the rear wired crane stock will be in the 11.1V 1600mah range and 20C is IMO perfectly within factory recommended spec.  If you go with a brick style lipo that will fit the butt cover it's usually in the 1200 to 1400 mah range.  Either one will work great.

I use the one from your 1st link (1200 mAh 25C)  It's an awesome, and rather small, battery.  It's actually smaller than their 1200 mAh 15C battery due to the more efficient chemistry of the battery.

Just curious, what ROF are you getting and what are the upgrades to your gun?

Hello forum gurus!!  I am new to airsoft and getting into it to play with my son.  I played paintball back in the mid 90's to early 2000's and enjoyed it.  I bought my first airsoft rifle, a KWA CQR Mod 1.  I have read all the posts here and haven't seen much on a battery recommended for the CQR.  I know the video lists the BOL 11.1 Brick style as a recommended battery but I don't due mag dumps and actually play more with semi than anything else.  My question is simple as I have not been able to find it through a Google search...can anyone give me the dimemsions of the BOL 11.1 brick style mentioned in the video as fitting the foregrip of the CQR?  If I had those dimensions, I could easily find a battery that fits.

Technically, the battery is for a future build. I plan on replacing my stock 2009 KWA internals with a set of 14:1 Riot SC gears, Lonex red piston, Lonex POM piston head, Lonex A2 motor, and AWS Raptor (to replace the AWS Sentry and free up space in the stock for a bigger battery). This will obviously require far more current than what a stock or mildly upgraded gun uses.

Speaking of which, after this weekend's OP, I'll be opening up my stock 2009 KWA 2GX gearbox to see what it looks like after five years of use and no maintenance. I hope to be pleasantly surprised so I can document it and show the folks on AirsoftSociety and AirsoftMechanics that KWA still deserves to be a top tier brand.
