whast the easiest way to remove orange paint on slide?

Could anyone give me any pointers on how to effectively remove the orange paint on the kp slide without damaging the slide? thanks for your input.. darn federal orange tip laws*sniffle*

Dip it in acetone, aka nail polish remover.

be careful...remember the acetone will take off the slide's black paint under the orange revealing the shiny metal of the slide, which is what happened to me. a little non-reflective black camo paint will work over the orange or over the shiny metal.

overseas= no orange tip and factory trademarks. almost makes you want to move.....almost

Or do what I did and just buy a new slide with trades =)

thanks for replies, spray paint is a good temporary answer I think without risking stripping paint off the slide with acetone.. yeah here on guam we get both u.s guns and overseas guns, but its hard to find all the nice little upgraded slides and other parts that are probably available at shops in the states..
wonder if i can somehow do hk trades on the polymer body hrmm.. hehe

If you can still find those KSC metal slide from the old series.  A little modification will fit the new NS2 KP45.
