hammerson's one ready too

my fma rail system with afg2

oh, and the screws on the fma rail system sticks out higher than the rail itself, making it impossible to slide the afg into the rail. so i use different screws that came with the moe polymer rail to make it flush with the rail.

And yes the screws on the FMA rail are too tall. I used the screws but took the heads down with a grinder and made them flush with the rail and touched it up with some gun bluePosted Image[IMG]http://img.

Also had to modify the afg to slide back far enough to fit
Pic in next post

( o Y o )

I'm not a fan of the AFG on an MP7 though the gun does look unique. That said I tend to be on the conservative side anyway. I guess the important question is how does the gun feel when you fire it?

It feels great..i dont like how it looks really but it feels really good in my hands. Overall i dont like the look of the mp7..which is why it took me a while to get one. Ive only had this for a few months. After hearing how well they shoot i gave in and bought one lol..btw..stay tuned as i am getting a stock adapter to fit any style m4 stock. Now this looks super weird..but im into wierd stuff..it feels good too shouldering it with an moe stock

There's your answer then. I've seen too many people, myself included, that go for form (look) over function. Who cares if it looks wonky... I prefer to think of it as unique! The poor SOB on the other end will never forget the a**whooppin he gets! And the nightmares will continue for years featuring that "wonky" gun....sorry couldn't resist!

The AFG1 looks kind of strange on there, though if it works then it works.

As you put plastic down range at 20 RPS and 400 FPS the person on the receiving end isn't going to give on rats behind about the look. Nuf' said!

Think Ima do this to mines too. This looks nice since I'm a fan of the afg2. Feels nice in the hands with the angle its at, for me at least. Now i just need more mags and mag parts.

Dunno if anyone who knows is reading this thread but here goes.

Is there anything to justify paying $50 more for the Hammerson rail compared to the FMA's version 2?
Hammerson is CNC, is the FMA cast or something? Also how's the fit and finish on the FMA v2 in general?
