Greetings everyone!!! I guess this would be a good time to introduce myself   . My names Michael, I am 21 years old, and I live in Pensacola, Fl. I am relatively new to airsoft ( been playing for 2-3 months). I had always played paintball back in the day and had a blast, but got out of it because it was too expensive. It wasn't till a few months ago when my friend was shooting a G36 airsoft gun on full auto that I actually realized how cool and realistic airsoft guns were. That night I went out and bought a CO2 pistol from Walmart and had a blast playing. Of course, I then had to get a WAY better gun than all my friends and that's when I purchased my KWA M4A-1  :P . From what I've found, not too many people are into airsoft around the NW Florida area compared to other places in the U.S. Although I am getting a lot of my friends into airsoft...so maybe the population will get bigger   . The weather here is sporadic and I've never been to an "actual" airsoft skirmish  :( . I just always play with my friends either at a homemade airsoft course or night games at a town  Rec center. I don't really have any tactical gear except for a BDU and some ESS goggles. I only own 1 High-cap mag lol and don't see a need in getting more than 2 or 3 (at least for my purposes). I am in college so money is definitely an issues (even though I've probably spent too much on airsoft already  :rolleyes2: ). As far as rules and regulations in FL I am not sure......probably should check on that.

Over n' OUT.

Hi there I am Lousy from Hong Kong. Lousy is my nick name given by my Australian classmate 10 years ago because my surname is Lau. Old players tell airsoft here in old days was like an extreme sport for painfully fun (2 joule plus). It was not a one-shot-kill game like today but more like a test to see how much shot pain you can take until you give up and yell ‘die’. Today airsoft weekend here from my eyes is more like a smoking gathering event sometimes even feel like a gun-and-fashion-accessories-show-off show. It is kind of lousy I reckon therefore I went ahead for IPSC at least it is more organized and serious. I recently completed a 4-lesson IPSC basic training course. A lot of focus, strategy and rule readings are needed. I was surprised that even shooting to non-live items (paper and metal targets mainly) can be so detail and complicate to study in term of orders and movements. They are even saying pistol reloading needs 3 lessons to study in advance course.

Few general wargame rules here:
CQB = single fire only
Outdoor = depends who is the man usually 1.5 joule max. We play 1 joule max. The higher gun power, the lesser friendly fire.
Law allowed max airsoft gun power = 2 joule

Enough reading, my armory as below:
Classic Army CA33E (real steel = H&K HK33E) KM TN 6.04mmØ 363mm barrel and few internal upgrades 1 joule
Classic Army CA53 (real steel = H&K HK53) Marui MP5 stock barrel (6.08mmØ?) All factory internals only for CQB 1 joule
Classic Army CA36K (real steel = H&K G36K) KM TN 6.04mmØ 363mm barrel and few internal upgrades 1 joule
Unknown brand China made MP5K KM TN  6.04mmØ 250mm barrel and LOTS of internal upgrades 1.2 joule for my wife use only.
KWA MK IV PTP (real steel = I don’t know) All factory internals for IPSC training
I also saw the new KWA Formula series (design for IPSC?) and I suspect its internal NS2 is same as MK PTP(?) except it uses double stack magazine.

Howdy,
I am Keefe fom Houston Texas area.  I found out about KWA through a knife forum I have belonged to for about 5 years...someone was showing their man cave shooting set up.
I am a newbie to airsoft so I plan on just lurking for the most part and gathering knowledge.
My first airsoft comes in tonight: Mk IV PTP (olive Drab/Black).
As I go back and read over some of the posts I am beginning to feel my age: 44.  Oh well.  Life is good and I just enjoy having fun.

So i'm from switzerland
Airsoft in switzerland is awesome we play the whole year at : quarrys , forests , halls etc .
You have to be 18 to own an airsoft ( people from albania , serbia , turkey , kosovo cant buy airsoft guns)
There are nearly no restricions ( the only thing i know that we cant mount LASERS on our guns)
The swiss airsoft community has about 700 people and they are organized in clubs and we got the swiss airsoft federation they talk to the politicians and the police and they make the rules (up to 350 fps full auto /upwards semi only)
We organize our events in a central forum thats  awesome
The cool thing in switzerland is that every 18 year old swiss HAS TO go to the military :-D and what i learned so far in the military(im actually doing  'wache'  at the moment ) is very useful for airsoft

Hello folks,

I'm from Belgium and I'm 34 years old and I am new in the airsoft scene.

I started buying a Sniper (Mauser tactical pro) and as a backup my choice fell on the KWA SR7 DEVGRU.
My SR7 is still stock so I will be surfing the forum here to see what possibilities I have to upgrade with accessories.  (Foregrip/red dots etc...)

In Belgium the airsoft rules are pretty simple:

GBB and AEG: 350fps (max 360fps)
Snipers and other: max 500fps

Since my SR7 shoots 357fps out of the box there is no need to push the fps even more as long as I want to participate in skirms.

Last weekend I participated in my first outdoor skirm (abandoned car junkyard) and I had a lot of fun so I think I'm in for the long run!

One strange thing I noticed however is that almost all the pics I've seen of the SR7 are with KWA trademarks where else I have the Semper Fidelis navy logo on it...

Anyway I'm pretty proud to be the first Belgian member on the KWA map!
Hopefully others will follow soon!

Hello folks,

Im Felipe, im 21 years old and im from Chile. I've been playing airsoft for about a year and a half, and i really love this sport.
My team is called Sección Capadores (you can check our facebook page for pics here: http://tiny-url.org/bqinbW )
Here a lot of people play airsoft, actually it has been recognized by law as a sport a few months ago and right now im training for the third national championship in Punta Arenas on October 7th =).

In Chile we have desert in the north, huge forests and mountains in the center and snow on the southern part of the country, which is great because of the variety.
There are nearly no restrictions here, except for being over 18 years old and have no criminal records; but we as airsoft players keep a online database with the info of every player and the replicas for police autorities.

I recently bought a KM4-SR10 and im amazed with it, the internals, quality of externals, the fps and distance is just perfect for field games. Im planning to get a Mark IV m1911 in a couple of months too.

Well that should be it, greetings from this part of the world! :D Nice to meet you guys.

My name is Scott and live in the Sacramento, California.  I got into airsoft after I took my son to a birthday party at a local CQB field a few months ago.  It looked like a lot of fun so now we both play together.  We own the H&K USP, M9 PTP x2 and I recently just picked up an MP9 and installed the new low power bolt, which stills fires in 350-360 FPS range using .20's. We mainly play at our local CQB so pistols and SMG's are a must have!  Now my son has his eye on the MP7 due to your free mag promo!
