Hey guys!

I just bought a LM4 PTS and was wondering what should be the first few mods and upgrades I should  do to my rifle?

Thanks Heater.

I would try the gun first and see what is needed. Sometimes you get lucky and don't need any upgrades at all, but chances are that you will. Personally I feel that the RA Tech 6.01mm barrel and the Maple Leaf EVO II hop up set together make the best upgrade. You should also consider doing the o-ring mod to the barrel. There are a few other things but these are the most important for my particular case.

Use it and see what you want to change.  No two people will want to use the same mods across the board.  Internal mods are a bit different but external and ergo mods are going to vary from person to person.

I can't even begin to calculate the cost of all the different mods I've used and then decided I didn't like on my real steel weapons.  Same for load bearing gear.

Can I just say, modifying and accessorizing your stuff are two completely different things.

Accessorizing is Barbie for Boys.  Caliber doesn't matter (5.56mm or 6mm), it's mostly fluff!  ;)  Brownells has compete Barbie catalogs for the M1911 and AR15 and there are complete websites dedicated to airsoft with mostly fluff.  But... I just put "white outline letter" tires on my Expedition so none of us is immune to this behavior.  :)  Decide where to put your money. I usually select performance over appearance.  (The tires were the same price as black walls - I promise.)
