The supply of the 2GX gearbox will be limited to 2009 models at the beginning.  It will take sometime before we build enough inventory for individual resale in the ProShop.

Negative.  We haven't release 09 models yet.  Schedule to release after June.

Do you have any rough estimates as to when I might be able to get my hands on a one piece outer for my KM16BR? Although I have it locked down, I was informed by radix that due to it being one piece its quite a bit stiffer, that's where mine is weak, it flexes if I use my floating RIS, so currently my RIS is not installed and I'm using the stock grips which help eliminate the flex. I would like to use my RIS and have no flex on the outer barrel if I bump it on something.

put a spacer or something inside the ris to keep it centered? if you can get it so its not seen, always would be better for the gun to have something in there anyway to prevent any flex.

I had thought of that at one point, however I could not really find any sort of spacer for a free floating RIS system, so if you have any part numbers for a spacer like that I could use let me know ;-). Also it kinda defeats the purpose of a free floating RIS, the amount of flex in the outer barrel is negligable as to affect it now that I have modified the barrel base with larger screws that lock into holes I drilled into the outer barrel. A one piece would still be the best option though, which is why I asked because that's what I want.

You might consider a rail riser to connect the RIS to the Upper receiver and make it more stable...

^You can achieve the same result by moving the carrying handle forward.

I did this on one of my guns with a real steel tactical carrying handle and the whole front end is solid like a rock.

hes talking about keeping his outer barrel straight, or stable, not the ris, altough if u need a ris fix the madbull is perfect, but pricey.

Otherwise i dont really know anything myself you can throw in there, but still keep looking you'll find something around your house.

The outer barrel is connected to the RIS...

So if A is connected to B, and you stabilize B with C, so will A.

That's how it is with one of my guns anyways.

Most of the M4 series at "KWA Authorized Dealers" already have the updated internals and 80% of the new improvements can be retrofitted to your existing guns.

Hmmm,

I purchased an M16BR yesterday from AirsoftGI.  From what I understand, there's a possibility that it came with the updated 2009 internals?

nope. it does not have 2009 internal.  At least not all of them.  You'll have the latest piston and gears set. v1.75 gearbox shell.
