Getting back to the topic of this thread: Mags, I hope the mag will hold 39 rounds... It will give a slight advantage to anyone in fast paced CQB especially.

I was wrong about 39 rounds in an AK74 mag, that I had guessed a few posts back.

It's 30 rounds for regular ak74 mag, or 45 rounds for a RPK style mag.

;) I trusted myself... not really. Hahaha. That's why I said I'm guessing, just no one searched google for a few seconds to correct me.

well there is a 40 round style magazine. but they were meant for the caliber not being modeled after KWA. i still vote for quad stack. izmash already announced last year that the AK-20x line will have 3 new experimental magazines. cause we all know KWA thinks ahead of the curve :innocent:

My thinking of the experimental magazines would be: a) the electric cut off feature in the mag in the RM4A1, B) the option to stop the gas system with the button on the AKG mag that comes with a switch and c) the hidden gas valve in the AKG mag that adds more realism.

That smiley meant to be: b:
Lol sorry.

Quad-stack magazine would make M4 GBBR fans jelly, if it were to come out for the AK first.:P

Of course it can't take the abuse of the real ak. This is an airsoft gas blow back replica- not the real deal. LOL

I wonder what situation when playing airsoft with an AKG, would warrant throwing your GBBR into mud and sand?
And why would you expect it to work afterwards? LOL

quad stack mags are just my personal oddity i would love to see. no one has done them before (gas wise), but for manufacturing sake i would expect the typical black color 30 round izmash/tula style.

If you want to break something, throw it at me first. :drooling: If it survives, then we'll talk mud and sand. Now... how about push up from the mags, or using the AK as a ladder for teammates to jump over a fence...

I would love to see a quad stack mag as well. All milsim AEG users will be like, you guys only have 30 rds, while we have 120 rds. That's when you bust out the quad stack, and fire away like when Hollywood actors have +90 rounds in their 30-50 round mags... :rolf2:

A magazine can't hold enough gas to fire off 120 rounds efficiently and perfectly. SO let's just forget about it... hahahah

IDK but might not be too far from reality.  I can already get almost 50 shots on my ATP mag so I would have to guess that if a bigger gas chamber is used, it may be possible?
