I purchased my LM4 used from a fellow shooter here and unfortunately he had lost the hop-up adjustment tool.  I can't seem to find anyone, including KWA selling them.  Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get one or how to adjust the hopup with out one?

I did, and they do not have any for sale.  I even spoke to the retail distributor down here and they are unable to order them yet either.

KWA reports that they are only making enough to put one in the boxes as they are produced.  No extras are being made at this time.

I'm looking to find out if anyone has found an aftermarket tool that works or has a mod that is easy to follow.

........ or has one they'd like to sell :-D

While annoying, if you separate the upper and lower receiver, you can use your hands.

The same wrench works on the GBB pistols.  A major airsoft store may have extras.

A 3 second Google search turned up these:

Not sure they're in stock but other sites show them "out of stock."

The pistol and smg tool is smaller then the tool for the LM4. They are similar in design however the LM4's about twice tve size of the pistol/smg's.

I traded my kwa m9, for an lm4, and I kept the adjustment tool (that I got with the m9). I'm currently using it on the lm4, and the size is the same. I don't know what ash was talking about, I don't see a size difference.

After looking closely at both the hop up tool from a KWA mark IV and LM4 I was wrong.  A tool from a GBB pistol or SMGshould work on a LM4.  The LM4's handle is bigger, which is why I assumed the part that adjusts the hop up was too.  But I guess that is why they say never to assume.  Sorry to give misinformation.

Yeah, I used a hop-up tool for a MK IV and an M93R and they both worked.
