HI Brendon, welcome to the KWA Forums.  You are not breaking any Forum rules since you are not trying to sell or profit in some way by your question.  I'm sure others will have some links for you.

As far as I know, most shops are sold out of KWA MP7 mags.

Cheap MP7A1 magazine is an oxymoron!  Gas airsoft magazines are, to coin a phrase, "crazy expensive."

eHobbyAsia has the 20 rounders in stock, but not the 40 round magazines.  Other than less-than-instant-gratification in delivery time I've found the Hong Kong vendors to offer quality products at reasonable prices.  Other than waiting for delivery the only other hassle is I have to go to the Post Office to sign for the boxes, the carrier won't deliver them.

Would just getting 2 or 3 20 round magazines be better than just waiting for a 40 round? I found one website that has some good piced magazines but they will probably always be sold out...

The 20 round magazine sits flush with the grip and makes the gun very handy.  Your use will determine if the 20 is a suitable substitute.  They're priced about the same as the 40 round version so there's more expense.  But if you need spare magazines right now the 20s are the only ones I see available.

My MP7A1 came with two (2) 40 round mags so I've not been searching for another real hard.

i think unless you are using the mp7 qas a side arm, (i use mine as a cqb primary) the 20 round mags are a pain, the 40 rounders are worth waiting for, and there is no "good price" per-say. you get what you pay for though, never had a problem with one of my mags. its the hard life of shelling out exuberant amounts of money so that your gear is "engineered to out preform"

hope this helps!

Chuck, what type of delivery are you using?  I ask because I always get delivers to my door from Hong Kong.

Agreed on the 20 rounders.  I have 2 that are practically never used.

If you want 40 round mags, hurry up and place an order at Evike.  They are on pre-order, but the 4 I ordered came in early and I have them now.

What website did you get yours off? Did you order a second magazine or did two just come with it?

If you are going to order off of ehobby, they sell Angry Gun 40 round magazines for the MP7 for $40, as opposed to $49.99. I'm not sure if they are as gas efficient as normal KWA ones are though. Finding replacement parts for these mags may also be a hassle, but worth a try! Here's a link... even though they are out of stock.

My mail delivery from the three or four Hong Kong airsoft suppliers I've used has come "signature required."  This means my mailman ain't gonna get out of his truck and walk my driveway to discover no one is home.  :)  Electronic parts, though, go in the mailbox.  It's all up the shipper and perhaps what's shipped.   No real hassle as the PO is maybe 90 seconds out of the way on the way to/from work.

My MP7A1 was a "two magazine special" from Evike last summer.  Two KWA 40 round mags.
