So while cleaning my KMP9, I noticed that the cylinder return springs had come off the cylinder and got crushed... Again. The first time it happened I figured it was just a fluke and replaced them. Now that It has happened again, I'm thinking something is wrong inside the bolt.

Could I be doing something wrong when I install the springs? Is there any way that I can secure the springs to the cylinder? I plan on using the gun as a primary when it warms up so I need to make sure this won't happen again. Even though its happened twice, this is really damn annoying.

KWA guns often come with a small dab of superglue on the return springs. Does keep them from being crushed, but at the same time, you will more than likely screw them up yourself next time you go to clean out your bolt insides. Just an option.

Generic super glue will do it.  You just need a really small amount and allow it the hour to cure before reinstallation

It won't hurt to put some on the breech side as well.  Just be sure to clean off any oil so the super glue can adhere to the surface correctly.
